Cyril Academy — Academic Curriculum

When it comes to curriculum, Cyril Academy would follow the CBSE guidelines (from the appropriate class) and aspires to be a full-fledged school (till 12th standard) in near future. But when it comes to teaching philosophy and methodology, Cyril Academy is a school that makes a difference in a child's lifelong journey of education and experience building.

The pre-primary section follows the school's own curriculum where the teaching-learning modules are built around tested methodologies featuring a no-strain environment where each child learns at his/her own pace. The children are involved in educational and fun activities through which they undergo peer learning, numerous sensory games and build up their fine and gross motor skills. The curriculum structure is inspired by global teaching methodology which aims to:-

1. Teach students in a Play-Way Method
2. Making learning fun through use of various creative teaching materials, exercises, dance, drama, music, games and sport.
3. Use innovative new-age teaching technology like audio visual aids.
4. Prepare children to be disciplined, self –dependent and with high self-esteem from a very tender age.  Special focus will be laid on basic hygiene and nutrition.
5. Provide individual attention to children. The stress will be to allow children to learn and progress at their own space.
6. Ensure regular monitoring and provide detailed quarterly report on progress of the child to parents.
7. Provide opportunity to interact with international volunteers from time to time.

Children will learn through group activities and various play activites. They will learn to regard books as colorful companions. They will explore their natural and physical environment in and out of the classroom and learn through observation and coordinated tasks.
